DOSAGE

The optimum dosage of ABAFLOW iSC-R can be determined by trials at the site. Depending on concrete mix design (sizes and types of aggregates, cement content, water/cement ratio, ambient temperature, and concreting conditions), a dosage of between 0.8 and 2.0 percent by weight of cement or cementitious material is recommended.

DIRECTIONS OF USE

1. ABAFLOW iSC-R could be added to a part of the concrete mixing water, then added to the concrete mix.

2. ABAFLOW iSC-R could be added to the concrete mix during the mixing cycle at the same time as the water or the aggregate, or it could be added to ready-mix concrete before placing concrete.

3. Admixtures must be weighed carefully.

• Production of various structural concretes, including High Performance Concrete (HPC), High Strength Concrete (HSC) and low water-to-cement ratio concrete
• Ready-mix concrete, pumpable concrete and projects requiring extended transportation time and long slump retention
• Concrete placement in hot and dry weather conditions and mass concrete applications, aiming to improve moisture management, reduce shrinkage and limit the risk of early-age cracking
• Construction of various concrete elements, including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, bridges, tunnels, tanks, hydraulic structures and marine structures
• Production of durable, low-permeability concrete suitable for aggressive environments and severe service conditions
• Concrete containing supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), low-carbon concrete mix designs and sustainable concrete applications

Shelf life: 1 year in the original package

Storage condition: Should be protected from direct sunlight and frost. Keep the container in the temperature range between +10°C and +30°C.

HEALTH & SAFETY

This product does not contain any substances hazardous to human health and the environment. However, it should not be swallowed and should not come into contact with the skin and eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. ABAFLOW iSC-R is not flammable. For further information, refer to the material safety data sheet.
