SURFACE PREPARATION

All surfaces to be coated should be clean, dry and free from contamination .Prior to application all surfaces should be assessed and treated in accordance with ISO 8504:1992. Oil or grease should be removed in accordance with SSPC-SP1 solvent cleaning Concrete Surfaces Concrete should be cured for a minimum of 28 days prior to application. The moisture content of the concrete should be below 5% .All surfaces should be clean and dry Surface preparation shall not take place in following conditions: - At temperature below 5 º C. - When the relative humidity greater than 50-60%. - When the surface temperature is less than 3 º C above dew the point. - Outside day light hours on exterior locations

• E.M.EPOXY BOND is a two component, epoxy pourable structural adhesive. It cures with minimal shrinkage at temperatures above 5oC to a very strong, dense solid material. The mixed material is applied to a suitably prepared surface and quickly cures to form a complete impermeable repair/adhesive unaffected by many forms of chemical attack. It is supplied as a two pack colour coded material in pre-weighed quantities ready for on-site mixing and use.

Material is supplied in two containers as a unit. Always mix a complete unit in the proportion supplied. Once the unit has been mixed it must be used within the working Pot life specified.
The curing agent (part B) and base (part A) should first be stirred separately to disperse any settlement.
Combined entire contents of curing agent (part B) with base (part A) and mix thoroughly with power agitator.
Product is also available in pre-measured units, eliminating the need for field measuring of components. Mix thoroughly for at least three minutes, scraping the container bottom and side to assure complete mixing. There is no induction or waiting time required after mixing before application.
The exothermic nature of epoxy setting reactions may cause rapid temperature rise when the mixture is left massed in a bucket, resulting in high temperatures and loss of utility of the product.
In hot climate, material temperature should be 20 to 25 º C prior to mixingotherwise pot life becomes very short.
Do not thin for any reason
Material shall not be applied when wind speed is in excess of 7 m/s
Do not apply this material when surface temperature is below 12º C.

Mixing Ratio (A:B) :   3:2(by weight).
Density (A+B) :   Approx. 1.4 g/cm3.
Volume solid :   100%.
Flash point :   80°C.
Cleaner :   T-200.

CLEANING
All tools and equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with T-200 Cleaner. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

STORAGE &SHELFLIFE
The shelflife is 12 months if unopened, stored free from frost, moisture and direct sunlight.

• This product is Flammable. Keep away from heat and open flame .Keep container closed .Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid prolonged and repeated contact with skin. If used in confined areas, observe the following precautions to prevent hazards of fire or explosion or damage to the health:
• 1-Circulate adequate fresh air continuously during application and drying.
• 2-Use fresh air masks and explosion proof equipment.
• 3- Prohibit all flames, sparks, welding and smoking.
