ABABENTO-FLEX

INSTALLATION

Apply by brush ABABENTO-FLEX ADHESIVE along the concrete by the width of ABABENTO-FLEX. Roll out required amount of ABABENTO-FLEX. Whilst still tacky (within 10-15 minutes) apply the ABABENTOFLEX.

Remove the release paper and press the ABABENTO-FLEX firmly to the surface for several seconds. At the highest coil end on vertical sections pay particular attention.

If the adhesive has dried out reapply to the surface. Mechanical fasteners may be used in conjunction with adhesive. Tightly butt end together to form a continuous waterstop.

 Do not prehydrate or submerge in water.

If severe ground water chemicals or salts exist consult with ABADGARAN GROUP Technical Service Department

TECHNICAL NOTE

• The length between ABABENTO-FLEX and the outer surface of the concrete must be 50 mm minimum.
• It is not suitable for the joints of precast building elements.
• ABABENTO-FLEX should be protected from humidity and rain prior to application.
• Upon contact with excessively salty water ABABENTO-FLEX may not expand sufficiently.
• ABABENTO-FLEX can be used underwater up to a depth of 12 meters.

STORAGE

• Shelf life: 1 year in the original package.
• Storage condition: Store in dry shaded condition, should be protected from direct sunlight and frost. Keep cardboard box in the temperature range between +10°C and +30°C.
• Packing: 7 meters roll in cardboard box .
