Latex EMULSION CEMENT MODIFIER AND WATER BASED CONCRETE BONDING AGENT
Latex concrete bonding agent is a new product based on advanced polymer emulsions, designed using combined mineral and organic technologies to provide performance beyond conventional adhesives.
this bonding agent has been specifically developed to reduce water absorption and permeability in mortar, increase adhesion between old and new concrete, improve the modulus of elasticity, increase bond strength, and enhance the surability of concrete structures in harsh enviromental conditions
this adhesive significantly improves the performance of concrete structures in harsh enviromental conditions, including freeze-thaw cycles, constant moisture, and alkaline materials, by creating a stable chemical and physical b ond between old and new concrete while reducing capillary porosity
Surface Preparation
Concrete substrates must be completely clean and free of grease, loose particles, laitance and dust. it is also recommended that the surface saturated with fresh water and water accumulation on the subgrade surface be avoided before application.
Application
E.M.BOND-PRO can be applied in two methods to increase ashesion and eliminate cold joints.
after saturating the surface with fresh water, a polymer slurry is applied to the surface to a thickness of approximately 1 to 2 mm, and when the slurry is sticky to the touch, concreting or mortaring is performed.
the slurry is prepared by mixing the adhesive, water and cement in a weight ratio of 1-1-4. the approximately consumption per squar meter is about 1.5 kg of polymer slurry, in which 250 grams of concrete adhesive is used.
Note: never use thick adhesive without mixing with water and cement.
depending on the required adhesion, mix the adhesive and water in the appropriate ratio and add the prepared solution to the dry mortar components until it reaches the desired flow.
depending on the mixing water is replaced with E.M.BOND-PRO and added to the dry concrete components. if the mixing plan is fine-grained, it is recommended to use a smaller amout of adhesive, and if the mixing plan is coarse-grained, it s recommended to use a larger amount of concrete adhesive

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
Shelf life: 6 months in unopened original package.
storage condition: should be protected from direct sunlight and frost. Keep contaner in the temperature range between +10 °C and +30 °C.
This product does not contain any substances hazardous to human health and the environmet. However, it should not be swallowed or allowed to be in contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediatly with plenty of water. For further E.M.BOND-PRO is not flammable. MSDS is available at ABADGARAN website.
