SURFACE PREPARATION

ABAFLOOR PUR-30 can be applied over ABAFLOOR PUR-20. This layer must be applied observing the specified intervals between successive coatings and in accordance with the working time. Concrete surfaces must be cured for at least 28 days before coating. The minimum compressive strength and cohesion of the concrete must be 25 MPa and 1.5 MPa, respectively.

All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of any contamination. Surface cracks should be filled with grout or epoxy mortar, and finally primed according to the recommended guidelines.

SURFACE PREPARATION SHALL NOT TAKE PLACE IN THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:

• At temperatures below 15 ºC
• When the relative humidity is greater than 80%
• When the surface temperature is less than 3 ºC above the dew point.

APPLICATION METHOD

ABAFLOOR PUR-30 is supplied in two separate containers. After surface preparation and selecting the application method, first stir Part A thoroughly to ensure complete mixing, making sure no sediment remains at the bottom of the container. Then add the corresponding Part B to Part A in the recommended ratio and mix thoroughly until a uniform color is achieved. The two-component mixture should be stirred using an electric mixer at a maximum speed of 300–400 rpm. Continue mixing to ensure complete homogeneity and a uniform color.

1. Pour ABAFLOOR PUR-30 onto the floor in strips and spread it using a flat or notched trowel to achieve the desired thickness. After 10 minutes, roll the surface with a pin roller to remove any trapped air bubbles.
2. In hot climates, the temperature of the components before mixing should be around 25°C to prevent reduction of pot life.
3. During application, the ambient temperature should not be less than 15°C or higher than 40°C.
4. Do not thin the mixture under any circumstances.
5. Do not apply the coating if the wind speed exceeds 7 m/s.
6. Do not apply the coating if the surface temperature is below 10°C.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE

Shelf life: 6 months in an unopened original package.

Storage condition: should be kept in a dry and cool environment with proper ventilation in the temperature range between +20°C and +30°C.

Packing: Pre-batched Part A: 16 kg & Part B:  4 kg units, 20 kg Total.

HEALTH & SAFETY

This product is Flammable. Keep away from heat and open flame. Keep the container closed. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid prolonged and repeated contact with skin. If used in confined areas, observe the following precautions to prevent hazards of fire, explosion, or damage to health:

1. Circulate adequate fresh air continuously during application and drying.
2. Use fresh air masks and safety equipment.
3.  Prohibit all flames, sparks, welding, and smoking.
