DESCRIPTION
ABABOND EP-20 is a solvent-free, two-component concrete bonding agent, based on modified epoxy resins and specially designed hardeners. It provides a bond of far greater strength than the tensile strength of the concrete itself. Therefore, it is suitable for use wherever structural bonding of new to existing concrete is carried out.
SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be clean, free from frost, standing water, and all loosely adhering particles. Cement laitance must be removed, and the surfaces to be treated must be mechanically roughened.
MIXING
Mix component A and B separately with a mixing paddle attached to a slow-speed electric drill (max. 600 RPM). Add component B to component A and mix with the mixing paddle for 3 minutes until the material becomes smooth in consistency and color. Avoid entrapping air.
APPLICATION
After mixing, apply directly to the prepared substrate by brush, roller, or spray. On damp surfaces, ensure that it is well-brushed in. Pour new concrete within the specified open time, as long as the material is still tacky.
DOSAGE
The optimum dosage of ABABOND EP-20 to meet specific requirements depends on the porosity and roughness of the substrate. The dosage range for normal substrates is from 0.3 to 0.8 kg/m2.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
The shelf life: 12 months in an unopened original package.
Storage condition: stored free from frost, moisture, and direct sunlight. in the temperature range between +20°C and +30°C.
Packing: 4 kg set. Part A: 3 kg & Part B: 1 kg units.
HEALTH & SAFETY
This product is Flammable. Keep away from heat and open flame. Keep the container closed. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid prolonged and repeated contact with skin. If used in confined areas, observe the following precautions to prevent hazards of fire, explosion, or damage to health:
1-Circulate adequate fresh air continuously during application and drying.
2-Use fresh air masks and explosion-proof equipment.
3- Prohibit all flames, sparks, welding, and smoking.
