Founded in 1983 and initiated its business by establishing a workshop in Sheikh Abad Industrial Zone and collecting required licenses from Tehran Province Mine and Industries, Abadgaran Company brought its first concrete product and tile adhesives into the market. The company managed to produce and supply 55MT construction adhesive to the construction projects in the first year.
It continued the development trend by adding one or two new products to its products basket annually until 2004; new products such as all kind of grouts, joint sealants, repairing agents, and concrete antifreezes. The new team reviewed vision and defined new missions in chemical industry aiming to produce knowledge and technology redesigned execution routine the year that brought in changes in the stockholders group and more room of young mangers.
To this new end and through a development plan in two seven-year phases, the factory was replaced to new location (current site) and Abadgaran Laboratory was established after collecting required licenses from competent authorities such as Tehran Province Mine and Industries, Tehran Province Technology and Standard Research Center and provision of credit by Saderat and Mellat Banks.
In 2007, the Abadgaran laboratory managed to receive first license to work as colleague laboratory to Tehran Province Technology Research and Standard Institute in concrete admixtures branch and the cooperation was developed afterward.
By facilitating the laboratory and improvement of human resources, ABADGARAN took its first step to develop the R&D center, acknowledged and credited by Tehran Province Mine and Industries in 2008. This center is currently working to develop domestic knowledge in oil & gas, petrochemical, health and cosmetic, automotive, tile & ceramic fields and has set its next step to export services and products to developed industrial countries.
Along with scientific achievements, the production development plans was implemented & operated which led production capacity to reach 33000MT of construction chemicals comprised of 140 elements which were supplied to infrastructure and construction projects until early 2010.
Some of Abadgaran group's achievements during the first seven-year development plan are as follows:
By completion the first phase of the development plan and relying on its achievements, the second phase was initiated in 2011. The phase defines synthesis of bulky imported chemical materials using high-tech technology. The new goals are not achievable unless development of production line is replaced with robotic production line. To this end, sufficiency, localization and export, seven new products in construction fields are produced by using domestic resources at pilot scale.
Some other ABADGARAN scientific achievement in the begging of its 2nd development phase are:
