What is Shotcrete and When is It Used?

  • Posted by : Business Development Unit of Abadgaran Company
Shotcrete is a method of applying concrete at high velocity, primarily onto vertical or overhead surfaces. The impact created by this application compacts the concrete and enhances its integrity. Although the hardened properties of shotcrete are similar to those of conventional cast-in-place concrete, the nature of the placement process results in excellent bonding to most substrates and allows for rapid or even immediate setting, especially in complex forms or shapes. The shotcrete process requires less formwork and can be more cost-effective than conventional concrete.

Concrete Additive Gel Technology with Intelligent Internal Curing System

  • Posted by : Business Development Unit of Abadgaran Company
The iSC internal curing additive is an advanced silicate-based product that utilizes nanotechnology as an alternative solution to traditional concrete curing methods. This additive absorbs and retains water within the concrete structure, helping to maintain moisture during the early ages, reduce shrinkage-induced cracking, and enhance the durability of the concrete. iSC is suitable for use in mass concrete, fiber-reinforced concrete, concrete pavements, underground structures, and projects where traditional curing is difficult or impossible.
